I love this tray and bought it at the same time as the Studio Designs Vintage Inspired drafting table. It's very durable and I really like that the mug stays level no matter what angle your table is at. It's metal, but it's not shiny so it doesn't ruin the vintage look of my desk. The only problem is that the description says it fits most Studio Designs drafting tables (3/4" to 5/8" thick). The description of the drafting table doesn't specify a thickness, so I decided to be optimistic and bought the tray anyway. It turns out that the drafting table is 7/8 inch thick. I don't want to give up either so we made it fit with the help of a planer and some grease from my husband. Now it is safe and looks great. Overall I am very happy with the tablet and can't wait to start my next art project with it.
