This little tool serves its purpose! Use a mirror on the narrow spot under the lower radiator hose to see the transcooler fitting. There is no way you can get in there with a small master key and remove the retaining bracket. • First clean the mounting area with brake cleaner. • Remove the plastic latch cap with a small flathead screwdriver. • Apply some WD40 to the fitting/pipe area. • Install this tool on the pipe with the lip toward the fitting, close and insert about 1/4 inch into the fitting. • This little device releases the clamp by turning the tool a quarter turn in either direction, then removes the steel cord from the fitting. Amazing time saver!
