Review on πŸ–ŠοΈ Refillable Hand Lettering Pens Set - 4 Sizes, Modern Black Ink Calligraphy Pen for Beginner Writing, Signatures, Illustration Design by Amy Young

Absolutely, 100% NOT impressed!

I've tried all 4 "modern.calligraphy" pens and none showed more difference in line width than a ballpoint pen, which changes line width slightly with pressure. I've tried them with my normal writing pressure, tried them with light pressure, and tried to exaggerate the difference in writing pressure (although I don't know how successful my attempts might have been). In any case, there was NO discernible difference in writing the sentence, except that I actually lifted the pen off the page where the ink lagged a bit at the end of each word - but again, I get the same result with a regular ballpoint pen. Handle! I also bought a set of 2.4mm PILOT calligraphy pens and a set of 6 leads in my favorite colour. I've started using the PILOT parallel calligraphy pen and the included black ink and I'm VERY SATISFIED with the results. I can't say it's foolproof because I had to spend about 5 minutes putting the ink cartridge in - I started to think it was put in upside down and it wasn't until I looked at the illustrations again that I saw mine Mistakes - but once you try to use it correctly, it's easy, hence my recommendation for other calligraphy beginners: the PILOT Parallel Calligraphy Pen Set (https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B002RJLS0S/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o02_s00 ? ) . This pen set is actually available in 6 different widths, each with black and red ink cartridges, so you can choose the width you want according to the size of the letter you want to write, and each pen size comes with a different color cap. to make it easier for you to make your selection at a glance. And since I'm currently reviewing this other pen, I'll go ahead and write my review there.
