I was very upset and disappointed with this part of the installation. I assume this is largely Ford's fault given the fact that I had to run my own power cable from the passenger side fuse box and the fact that my steering wheel controls would probably never work without the original stereo. It would only be nice if I expected it. I'm still glad I bought it, it looks original and fits like a glove, but I'm spending HOURS trying to get things to work and they're still not complete, and I'm stuck in the basically resigned to it. Previous setups at Honda and Toyota literally plugged in and worked and everything worked. There was no such thing. I have a 2011 F150 XLT with sync. Bought ATOTO S8 single din.
