They are best for household cleaning of sinks and tubs, large pots and pans. I think they make china difficult to store. The forearms can be too narrow for some people. I'm an average height woman and the tops are tight enough to stay on my feet while cleaning with full arm movement. I really like them and have replaced my cleaning gloves with a pair of these. Not sure yet if I'll be getting another kitchen set or if I'll be wearing gloves that give me a little more tactile grip on smooth and small items.
