Nice heavy duty knife that is very comfortable to use and reasonably well made for a $30 knife. I like the weight and shape of the blade; I feel like I have more control over the edge than with a chef's knife. I have used this knife for slicing vegetables, slicing large fruits, butchering poultry and slicing large chunks of meat. Store immediately after washing and sharpen regularly. I also bought a knife sheath to protect myself and the blade as this product only comes with the box it comes in (nice box but maybe too bulky for normal storage). A great knife for both the casual cook at this great price and the more enthusiastic hobbyist! I'm not a pro so I can't comment but I like this knife.
