This camera takes pictures that are printed on heat-activated receipt paper. It's great that my kids can print them right away instead of waiting for the images to download to the computer and then the printer. for photo frames and stickers included. It is easy to use and easy to load paper. The picture quality is good, depending on the lighting when the picture was taken. However, there is a screen for viewing photos first.
