Good product! suitable for fish and aquatic animals

I'm really surprised that this product seems to be so effective against the biggest pests in the aquarium without any disadvantages and is very cheap. My system contains several high bioburden fish (including adult crossbrood trigger, giant sohal shank, large nose shank, and zebra eel) and non-photosynthetic corals that require frequent feeding. I always have detectable nutrients at 5ppm nitrates and 0.3ppm phosphates, but it's only recently that I've had a problem with cyanobacteria. Not sure what caused it, but it quickly covered the rocks and sand and, as usual, quickly returned after being physically removed. and of course nobody eats it. I used a full bottle (enough for 300 gallons) in my 500 gallon reef system so I underdosed about 40%. The yellow, odorless powder only discolored the water for a short time. After 24 hours, most of the cyanocyanide is gone and no harmful effects on corals or fish have been identified to date. According to the instructions, I did NOT turn off the filtering. But I adjusted the skimmer by lowering the water level and air intake and it pulled out quite a bit of skimmer. The pH has not decreased noticeably, but it is constantly decreasing, in the range of 7.8-8.0 due to the biogranules. I have already ordered a second bottle and will use this if there is any cyano left after 48 hours.
