Poor conductivity on tips
You get a lot of tips for the money but they don't work very well. They work with a completely worn shank tip almost at the same level. Poor thermal conductivity and very poor wetting. I've soldered audio quality lead-free and silver solders and gotten better performance with a worn OEM tip I was planning to replace. I haven't tested with lead solder, it might work better for this application.
