Review on 🔥 Kidde PE9 (P9050) Battery-Powered Photoelectric Smoke Detector by Micah Manus

These Kidde smoke alarms proved unreliable, almost every alarm we bought would eventually trip out for no reason and would not reset. I'm surprised they didn't get a recall due to these issues, the original set we bought from Home Depot and when we picked it up as a replacement they said it was a common problem with this make/model. After many false alarms (often in the middle of the night) everyone starts ignoring the alarm, mistaking it for another defect. Home Depot eventually replaced all 8 units, but 5 of the replaced units made the same ones within 2 years. So now in May 2019 I have bought 5 new devices from Revain and already in July 2019 one of these new devices started shutting down in the middle of the night and wouldn't restart. I gave them many chances but I lost all faith in them. Child.
