SETUP. Setup was a bit fiddly compared to other WiFi bulbs. It was difficult to put the lamp in the setting mode (flashing) while other lamps do it automatically. Once one of the lights finally blinked, the app (installed via QR code) recognized the light, but repeatedly reported that it couldn't register it with the Smart Cloud server. The lamp, phone and wifi router were no more than 10 feet away. apart as instructed. After a few tries it finally worked. WARM WHITE - The description says 2700K warm white, but the box and lamp both received 4000K. Not very"warm". White looks more "green" than the pleasant hue of a lightbulb. BRIGHTNESS. The lamp is equivalent to 100W but appears dimmer than a 60W 2700K warm white LED lamp. See photo comparison - both were at 100% brightness. Notice how well each of them illuminates the side tables and adjacent floors. COLOURS. Colors are good but much darker than expected at 100% brightness. I would like the app to have readily available default colors (e.g. red, green, blue, yellow) to make it easier to set multiple lightbulbs to the same color. by clicking the color icon instead of using the color wheel. They always seem to be just shadows of each other. SCENES / AUTOMATION. You can turn on the lightbulb and react to events such as outside temperature, humidity or weather conditions. Unfortunately, you can only set it to white or color mode. You cannot set a specific color for it, e.g. Yellow when it's sunny, or blue when it's raining, red when it's hotter than 100 degrees, etc. Likewise, there are scenes where you can set each bulb to either white or color mode. However, you cannot set a specific color, for example, for a nativity scene where one lightbulb is red and the other green, or red, white, and blue lightbulbs for the 4th of July. However, you can adjust in both levels of brightness. You can also set it to a preset function like blinking or changing color. VOICE CONTROL. There's a microphone icon you can use to tell the app what you want each bulb to do with voice control, but in a quiet room it had a 100% failure rate. If you don't get "Command Error" or "No bulbs found" it will print text so different from what we said it was useless. We never got him to accept even the simplest command like asking him to turn it on. If you have Alexa or Google, use those instead. SUMMARY. I was very happy to receive them but disappointed that they send colder whites than advertised, duller colors than expected and minimal features for a very cool idea for scenes and automation routines. . It is better to adjust each bulb manually. I plan to return these.
