I bought this bunk bed lamp for my son to use in our caravan. The light that was there is very bright so I decided to add it so he can use it as a reading light. I connected to an existing light and drilled a few holes to route the wires to the spot I wanted to install. this goose lamp. The bracket in the base of this lamp is removable, so you can attach it to the wall and thread the wires in, then hook the base back in place and tighten the screws. Easy installation. The light works great. The gooseneck is tight yet flexible so it stays where you put it. The switch works well - one touch only turns on the blue backlight, the second touch turns on the lamp as well. A third touch disables it. I only installed it for a week but it worked great when I tested it. Update: 10/24/2019 The installation took place within a few months and the light has survived several hundred kilometers. in our trailer.
