not so good. but good for something else. The design is much larger than the area of my nail so the effect of multiple lines or diamonds is not possible and the heart barely fits on my thumbnail. It takes a long time to get a noticeable effect with the pen element. finally gave up and tried the next one with mixed success. the pattern of intersecting lines created a pleasing starburst effect. the diamond pattern formed two wavy lines. The herringbone pattern didn't form clear lines down the center and seemed to have an offset in the center, otherwise it would have produced a nice partial starburst pattern. The wavy pattern created two wavy lines that differ from the wavy lines of the diamond pattern. I haven't tried diagonal lines, straight lines, or a circle with linear patterns. Expect them to be too big to achieve the intended effect. Will update if I find they work better than expected.
