The lack of storage for HD-series prompted me to take the second one today. The first one served its purpose for a full year before finally giving out. Several of the reviews mentioning brothers who passed away within a few months are concerning, but for now I'm giving it a 4. Advantages that vary: I already possess one of these and have not had a single problem with its speed, storage capacity, silence, or lack of overheating. Requires compromises: The cable is really short, therefore I'm setting a red price of $3000 on it. As with all VDs, the problem when connecting to an Extra PCMCI-Usb 3.0 controller is determined after 3-4 reconnections.
