Great little grill. A 1/3 pound turkey burger or a 1/4 pound beef burger are fine, but the illustrations show two hamburgers. Well they have to be smaller to fit on this grill. The grill does not have a timer. is an absolute must for me. I found an available solution here on Revain https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01G6O28NA/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 that can be adapted to whatever you find suitable for your application. After some experimentation, I found that a 1/3 pound thawed turkey burger or a 1/4 pound frozen beef burger was ready in 5 minutes. Warm-up time is not added. Once the timer has been programmed in countdown mode, the program is static and only requires pressing the "confirm" button to restart the on and countdown-to-off cycle. For those not connected to the grid, 1/12 hour (5 minutes) times 0.75 kW = 0.0625 kWh per burger. 62 1/2 watt hours. I cooked jerky burgers without a timer. Therefore, a timer is also highly recommended. I will order more for the rice cooker. also another device that can be set and forgotten. Whatever you're grilling, make sure you follow the product's recommendations to achieve the minimum internal product temperature for food safety, typically 165*F. Cheers!
