I needed a pair of scissors and was about to buy the same set of three pairs that I had just over a year ago. However, when I saw that the price had almost doubled, I decided to look elsewhere and find these. Luckily when they arrived they were as good as I had hoped. The only downside to 8 inch scissors is that only a person with very small hands can fit all 4 fingers in the slot provided. Just 2 or 3 will suffice, and the index and possibly middle finger must be passed over the finger hole. However, this should not prevent you from using scissors.
