I'm 8.5 cm tall and I wear size 9 shoes, so I usually buy size 9 shoes. It was uncomfortable because I could feel the bumps coming through the bottom straps glued to the sandal. I took a size up and they are looser but much more comfortable and I don't notice the bumps on the sandals that much. I have sensitive feet and usually wear tennis shoes but they were fine, just probably not for a day at the theme park or anything but comfortable enough to attend a wedding without heel pain! I also have a matching pair for my daughter who is a size 11.5 but I bought a size 12. Her feet are so wide that she wouldn't even fit in sandals. She also had to go down to a size 13 and it fits her better and is a bit looser to give her room to grow! My eldest daughter is a size 1 but has narrow feet but size 1 was too big for her and actually fits a size 13 so size may vary depending on foot width. Tip: You need to soak your sandals. before you adjust it to your feet, otherwise it will become stiff, stiff and uncomfortable.
