As the name suggests, the radiator fits a 2006 V8 Mercury Mountaineer Premier. Looks like the original radiator. You MUST remove the fan and clutch, which requires a special tool kit. The one from Autozone (available for free) that they say fits doesn't. I had to use the wrench from that kit and a couple of large vices to remove the fan. One of the tools actually grabs the heads of the four clutch bolts, which I've never seen before. You will also need a special tool to remove the transmission cooler lines. The Autozone had nothing to buy, let alone borrow. I bought a plastic socket from Lowes that was 1/2" ID, 5/8" OD, and 1/2" length. Click on the socket. While pushing, push on the tube and pull it out. It slips right off. Huge pain in the butt so make sure you have the tools to do it ahead of time. Good luck.
