I would call myself a popcorn lover to say the least. I'm a little shocked by this popcorn maker. So there are pros and cons. Pros: Makes popcorn very quickly. It is very compact and does not take up much space. I love the design, I think the measuring cup is cleverly placed. Cons: The taste of popcorn is a bit stale. idk like but it is. It's so noisy too. How can something so small be so loud? Popcorn will fly everywhere. Most end up in the bowl, but some fly all over the place. It would be great if the measuring cup on top could melt the butter. You can easily put it in the microwave, but it would be handy if you could do both at the same time. I usually make a lot of popcorn and I have silicone popcorn bowls or I make it on the stovetop. I opted for microwave popcorn. I think silicone bowls are my first choice. Popcorn always tastes fresh, and you can melt the butter as you pop the popcorn so every kernel is buttery soft. This popcorn takes second place. It's quick and easy to use. And the stove comes third for me because it's too greasy. Never put oil in the popcorn maker. I misread the instructions and the oil was everywhere! It was a disaster to clean up.
