Feet stay very warm and dry (so far only been used at about -10 degrees), that was the expectation of the shoe and it was more than fulfilled! The shoes are so comfortable that the daughter really likes to wear them. The simple, child-friendly "locking system" is perfect for children from around 3 years of age, so that they can easily put on and take off their shoes themselves. I deliberately bought the shoes two sizes larger, let's see how long they fit. The weight (despite the two sizes larger) is not a problem for our rather lanky girl and walking and running works great. Sure, it's not a cheap shoe, but the materials are great, both in terms of the selection and the workmanship chosen by the manufacturer. The cleaning also works wonderfully.
