I already have a very basic laser level for my work that has worked well but is difficult to use for single measurements. Due to the current pandemic situation, I've been working on more home projects than ever before. I've always thought about upgrading my laser level to pro level as it greatly reduces the complexity and time during the build. I bought this laser level during a thank you offer and got around $180 and it looks like I still got a good deal compared to the current price. Controlling this laser is easy at first as it has very few buttons to direct the laser on the X, Y and Z axes. The light is super bright and can still be seen with sharpness in full light. In the dark it is very clear. Before purchasing this laser I read several reviews and many people mentioned wearing safety glasses when looking through the laser light. So that was very useful information and safety information. As this is my first time using a professional laser, a few things struck me: You may not get 100% correct results when you turn on the laser. Because the laser constantly checks the leveling and flashes if it is not leveled correctly. A quick read of the manual helped me a lot to figure out why the light was blinking. But it's a cool feature to have at work, especially when leveling, so you don't have to check everything. I've recently started working on a wallboard project in my kids room and this level has been very helpful. I was able to adjust the height of the slat boards to my needs, cut the boards and level them as needed. It also helped me identify the vertical slats to place on the board. I still have a lot of work to do on my project and this cool little thing will come in very handy. Also, I verified that the horizontal lines that drop 360 inches around the height of the walls really match up (Amazing, it was very accurate, and I've included photos of adjacent wall measurements.) I'm not an expert at using this laser for multiple job sites since it mentions that it can project a laser hundreds of feet. have done every project with this distance :). Pros: 1. Lightweight and portable 2. Laser level is very bright even when the light is on 3. Accurate wall measurements 4. 3D laser casting is super cool 5. Worked well for my indoor projects and easily recognizes if the spirit level is wrong. 6. Batteries and case are very convenient 7. Saves a lot of time when measuring, especially when working on multiple walls in the same room Cons: 1. Not found many errors in my work. Please note that the laser level must be placed on a flat surface. Even if the spirit level is tilted or not held straight, the laser will continue to flash. This must be taken into account when assembling a laser position. All in all, this is a big step forward for me to go from a simple laser line to 360 inch wall projection. I haven't recharged the battery since the first charge and I hope the battery will last a long time. last thing.
