This filter was great. The water tastes great and the filter lasts a long time. We have 2 fridges and one is a bit older. One has water and ice in it the door but no filter system. So basically we had tap water in our fridge. This was a good and easy solution to this problem. All I had to do was cut the supply pipe and insert it into each end of the filter .I prefer to flush it before connecting both ends.This will remove and lose parts in the filter.If you choose to do this, make sure you have a bucket to drain the water into.
