What I like about Tableau is its ease of use. The dashboard, the charts, the filters, everything can be moved around without a complicated process. As you add more people to using Tableau you have to do some configuration to get the best performance. With a lot of users it may take time to load so make sure you have plenty of bandwidth. It's great for visualizing data from various sources. I'm able to analyze problems in my department by creating custom dashboards. I can also visualize trends across multiple employees.
