Probably the best solution for powering a GPU that requires an 8-pin PCIE connector. Keep in mind that the 6-pin connector only works for 75W, while the 8-pin connector only works for 150W. Since you still only have 3 ground lines, you have to be careful not to exceed the 75 maximum rated watts too far. Example: If your GPU is in the first PCIE slot, it will get 75W from that slot. If it has an extra 8-pin header with a 6-to-8-pin adapter, it shouldn't run much more than 150W (compared to 225W for a true 8-pin header) or it may bug occur (unless you have a really good power supply). ).
