I have several right and left handed boomerangs but am new to throwing. I will compare this rank with others. This gull is pretty easy to throw, not as forgiving as Aspen or Glacier but I find it more forgiving than others like Alpine or Yanaki. This rank has a wide curve and flies quite far. For a beginner I would say take Glacier or Aspen, if you want different handling then it rang. If you are a young beginner or feel that your wrist/forearm is unable to "click" the ring properly when you throw it, check out the Bumblebee. The bumblebee is very light, stable, easy to throw and doesn't fly far compared to other boomerangs. BOOMEANGS ARE NOT TOYS. Do not give this to a child or leave it unattended, do not throw it in front of an audience and make sure you have plenty of free, empty space. Boomerangs have edges that can cut skin if someone walks under them (boomerangs were hunting tools, after all).
