This is a topically exfoliating foot scrub. I soaked my feet and then used it for 2+ hours while watching Netflix. Moisture was felt after 2 hours, and then the skin tightened and became very dry. After 3 days it started to peel off, like after a sunburn. Basically it uses acids to give you a slight chemical burn so that old skin is shed. It doesn't work on thick calluses as it basically removes a 0.5mm layer of skin. All ingredients are fruit based moisturizers (oils) or light acids that don't really produce the advertised deep snake peeling effect. However, it works and the skin is soft. Update: After 3-5 days I got more peeling, similar to severe sunburn. It's still a superficial peel, not very deep and it doesn't penetrate the calluses, it just dries out a thin layer of skin that eventually SLOWLY began to peel over the course of the next week. This week my skin felt like it had aged 10 years - rough/dry, tingly and sensitive.
