My old charging cable finally broke so I figured I might as well upgrade to a longer cable. I have a fast charge phone so I wanted a cable that would be compatible with it. This cable is not as fast as my old cable. It used to take a little over 1 hour to fully charge my phone. Now it takes 3 hours. I'm ok with this because I usually charge my phone overnight, but if fast charging is important to you, look elsewhere. I wanted a long cord because I need to use my phone a lot when the battery is low, so I wanted the extra length to allow me to move around. This cable is VERY long. I am happy with this cable and would buy it again. Update: The cable no longer constantly charges my phone. It constantly connects and disconnects as it moves. Now it takes 9 hours to fully charge my phone with this cable. For me it took 2 weeks. Do not buy.
