Did what it said best in home audio

Product was easy to use, did what it said it did, just plug and play, no extra cable needed to play music in my 2012 Nissan play. altima When I got back to the car later, it took me quite a long time to reconnect and then I was able to start my music. I would love to use it to show what's playing on my car's display. Thought it might as if I use the cable it will show all the info but no luck.
