Small but works well. I have a 29.5 gallon tank and this just works perfectly for him. I also have very fine gravel in my tank so it's good to have something that doesn't suck up all my gravel. When I was looking for a good cleaner for my aquarium, I knew it should vacuum, but not so much that it would suck up all the gravel and sediment. This is really easy to assemble and use and does what it's supposed to do without overdoing it. The price was right too. Not the highest quality but I liked it. would recommend.
