JZMYXA Small Tank Aquarium Siphon and Gravel Cleaner Kit - Optimal for Effective Cleaning Review

Bought this as a gift for someone who has a nano aquarium, about 3/4 gallon. The small diameter of the hose allows you to slowly drain the water from the aquarium, which is ideal for such a small aquarium. The tubing used is sturdy and feels like it will hold up well.

This is my third purchase of a canister vacuum/siphon for aquariums etc. The first was electric and didn't even generate enough suction to draw water. The second came with no instructions but with a box of parts that we spent three hours putting together. Then my work colleague told me about it. She tried me and I was convinced. Small but works well. I have a 29.5 gallon tank and this just works perfectly for him. I also have very fine gravel in my tank so it's good to have something that doesn't suck up all my gravel. Now I have 5 aquariums at home. I like to "vacuum" the bottom of the tank from time to time to remove large debris that doesn't make it to the filter. I find that smaller siphons work better since my largest tank to date only holds 39 gallons. It's also great for water changes when your ammonium levels are rising.
