Now I have 5 aquariums at home. I like to "vacuum" the bottom of the tank from time to time to remove large debris that doesn't make it to the filter. I find that smaller siphons work better since my largest tank to date only holds 39 gallons. It's also great for water changes when your ammonium levels are rising. The siphon itself is very easy to use and works very well. It is very effective in both my 10 gallon and 39 gallon aquariums. The siphon draws water very quickly. Something like a 1-5 gallon tank may be completely empty before you can vacuum the bottom effectively. So keep that in mind before you decide on this one. Let's get to the investments. I tried over and over again and couldn't install the lights. Either they were too tight to use without an adapter, or the adapter placed the nozzle at an odd angle and was ineffective. While I only got Siphon for Siphon skills, I still hoped the attachment would work better.
