I had a garage hanging system at home that a professional installer installed and I wanted to add some hanging hooks. As a calculated guess, I've tried them and they actually work. My mesh is 3x4" so they only fit one way, but they still work with 3" mesh sizes. Once installed they hang a bit which seems unusual but hey they work and now I can hang them up. The problem with them is that, at least on my grid, the 3" gap has the wires at the top, so I can only install them between drawers and the ones that are on the storage unit. Look at your system from below, measure the distance to see which areas have 3 inch gaps, then see if those gaps have streaks at the top or bottom and which direction they can move. If they stick out and interfere with the boxers saved on the device, they will be more difficult to use. This limits how and where you can use them, but they're still useful. 4 stars not because they don't work, but because they don't fit exactly and you can only use them in the spaces between the boxes.
