There is an area near the center of the screen that seems less sensitive to touch. Sometimes it works better, sometimes worse. Maybe I ran into a broken one, or the cable got pinched in a weird way during installation. Since adhesive tapes don't stick very firmly, I tried taking it off and testing the cable, but couldn't get it to work any better. We'll try another brand. It's not really the set's fault, but Apple seems to have improved their glass adhesive. The original screen was VERY difficult to remove and almost impossible without disassembling it into several pieces. Earlier iPad models were much easier to repair.
