Very glad I bought this product. I'm definitely not a techie and this was my first attempt at something like this, but if you watch and/or follow any YouTube videos beforehand, you should be able to figure it out. After watching the video on YouTube the installation was really easy, I had to use the home button adhesive as I used my original one and not the one that came with it, but the adhesive around the new screen worked great. My tablet looks good and I can use it again which is perfect. I

This was NOT easy to install. I had to watch several YouTube videos to get help. The suction cup was useless. but that could be because the screen was so badly cracked that it didn't have a flat part to stick to. Lots of scratchy glass and tiny shards flying everywhere. Use safety goggles! I also had to plug, unplug, and plug back in a few times before the touchscreen was fully functional, but once I got it right it's been working fine ever since. There is an area near the center of the screen that seems less sensitive to touch. Sometimes it works better, sometimes worse. Maybe I ran into a broken one, or the cable got pinched in a weird way during installation. Since adhesive tapes don't stick very firmly, I tried taking it off and testing the cable, but couldn't get it to work any better. We'll try another brand. The kit arrived on time and was well packaged. This kit is great because it comes with a new home button and it's already connected to the screen! My son's iPad was so smashed that it was difficult to remove even with the tape covering the front of the screen. Take your time and use gloves (I didn't have any and now I have glass in my hand, my fault) with this kit that has the home button already attached, it's MUCH easier! The price was great too.
