I chose this kit to repair the screen of my iPad 6th generation. I watched videos on YouTube and followed the instructions. Glass removal, disassembly and reassembly were not a problem when evaluating the product. The kit included all the necessary tools for this. My problem is related to the quality of the adhesive and glass required to repair my iPad. When assembling, the final operation is to remove the foil covering the adhesive backing. This adhesive film can also be a piece of adhesive tape. It was barely sticky. Which leads to my next problem. I had to keep trying to press my iPad against the glass to keep it closed (which it still doesn't do) and then the following problem occurred. The pressure when attaching the glass to the edge of my iPad and boom, the glass breaks. I myself thought it was broken glass. I contacted Amazon and they sent a replacement for free. So I did everything again as soon as the new kit arrived. And guess what? The same thing happened. So, unless I have some kind of superpower, the fact that the mere pressure of my finger shatters the glass, what does that say about the later use of an iPad. The glass will break if I use it to play a game that requires my touch or use of a pencil to write. Needless to say I will be returning this one and trying a different brand. It's up to you if you want to take the risk, at the moment I'm very discouraged. Amazon's customer service was great, the product itself was very disappointing.
