The 2-3 year size was perfect for my two year old. It's hit or miss, however. I also ordered another color that was half the size of the first one. The one that didn't fit was sewn completely wrong. It showed all of her breasts and the straps fell off. So I can only give this particular one (sunflowers) 5 stars. I thought the background was black, but it's dark blue. They are both exactly the same size. You can see big differences there.
