It was sent folded in half, which caused it to be deformed and wrinkled, unable to return to its shape.

I searched for a size and it was big enough for a large cloth filter. Perfect right? Well, if it weren't difficult to transport and didn't deform right in the middle. Yes, it would still work. But when you're setting up a beautiful shrimp tank, who wants that nasty deformed crease on a new filter.
