Review on Adjustable Waterproof Unisex Earmuffs by Warmers by John Mahfood

Revainrating 4 out of 5

They get the job done for a reasonable price

Great value! Warm, soft and thick "fur" (fleece) on the ears. Waterproof and windproof outer material with reflective trim. Attached photos. Shown with and without flash to show materials and reflectivity. They come tightly folded in a container and fold very easily to put in a pocket or purse, but this design has one flaw that I didn't anticipate (that's why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5). The earcups fold and stay on the ears by pulling them into the folded position. The front outside edge (the front half of the round piece that surrounds your ears when you wear them) is what actually puts pressure on your face to keep them in your head (instead of the even pressure that is across the entire ear sections is distributed). both ears). which for me (due to the tight rims on the face and temples) causes some discomfort when wearing it with my glasses (because the headphone pressure points press against the hard temples of my glasses which the temples of my glasses press against the sensitive part). my skull around my head and behind my ears). Because they are angled to close and stay close to you that way, the back of the ear cover section (the part closest to the band that runs behind your neck) isn't close enough to my ears to wear the whole thing Wind / to prevent the cold air. from reaching my ears. If my face was wide enough (or the neck strap was adjustable) so the ear piece could be closer to the 90% angle to the strap piece, maybe they would lay flat against my ears and be perfect. I know this is a long review - it was hard to explain the issue - but I wanted people to understand. I would also like to point out that despite this lack, they keep my ears warm. The amount of air coming from behind is minimal. I live in Upper Ohio where the winters are VERY cold and while I wish they were adjustable and didn't have the downside mentioned, they do the job. I don't regret my purchase.
