Works well. I have a headset that I use with a boom microphone for long conference calls. They slipped right after replacing the included foam cap. The foam cover covered my breath but caught a lot of wind noise. This solved that problem. I even punched a hole in the end of one and put it on top of my Apple Beats X and it works great with them too, although that wasn't its intended purpose. I wasn't expecting much as larger fluffy covers are usually required to eliminate wind noise, but so far I'm impressed.
