I have 4c hair and fell in love with this product the moment it came out. I started using this product every few days along with a variety of essential oils and other natural hair products to lock in moisture and my hair was instantly much softer, stayed hydrated for days and could stay much longer! The problem is that this product is very greasy and oily and has caused breakouts on several occasions (I even got a rash on my chin, ugly!). This was particularly important because, despite my oily skin, I never get acne, am always free from blemishes and have relatively unproblematic skin. Plus, I noticed an oily residue every day wherever I put my head and couldn't help but recall the Jherri curl juice joke from Coming to America. I loved what he did to my hair and I even washed my pillowcases and duvets every other day but nothing helped and I kept seeing nasty pimples all over my face like a teenager. I had to stop using to keep my skin clean but I really enjoyed this product on my hair and would recommend others to try it if you don't have oily skin.
