Seems to be working. This rug is used in front of the "popular" tray next to the lower stairs. So tired of stepping on garbage all the time, chasing it down the stairs and sweeping it every day. During the week that this rug was on our feet were dirt free! It is used in front of a high walled litter box so cats have only one entry and exit and the screen encourages them to walk the full length of the mat. there was no problem with initial curls or wrinkles, it was smooth and flat straight away. The cats sniffed one or two, but then went straight into the box.
