6/10 worked: 6 worked very well, 4 worked right away.
Unfortunately these are great clips. 6 out of 10 actually worked, 4 of them broke in half and flew across the room trying to get a 1/4 inch rod in them. Maybe I just got a bad batch? The ones that work work really well, their large models look really good on my wall, as do some of the ones that have worked. It felt like a sheet metal manufacturing defect, I don't know why they intentionally made the clamps so brittle, worst case scenario they should have flexed a bit but didn't snap immediately with pressure. It was hard not to laugh about it. They just dropped me with "Tink" and hit the nearest wall by just holding it down and applying some pressure. I hope this hasn't happened to anyone, they are a good product when they work.
- The brackets are front mounted so there is no need to remove the board to install or reposition DuraHooks
