This material is incredibly light. It manages to flex endlessly without cracking or breaking, and yet weighs less than aluminum of the same thickness! What kind of scientific magic is going on here?!?!? I bought this to use as a windbreak for my camping cook. It works better than anything I've used before, and it's lighter than most titanium windshields! I'm not sure how that's possible, but Cinefoil is the real winner. I unfold it and fold it back each time I use it to keep it in the pan. I wasn't happy that I had to buy a whole roll but I'm glad I did because I'll probably be using this material for a long time. A few months later I'm still using my original piece. So far, so good! Summary: If you plan on using this stuff as a windshield, buy it. You will not regret it. My windshield is too big and still weighs less than 1 ounce. The paperclips I use almost weigh more than Cinefoil.
