Wow, this keyboard feels good. Nice beefy keycap weight (feels better.

Day 1 review (updated in 6 months): Wow, this keyboard feels good. Good beefy keycap weight (feels better than mine) CM Storm Quickfire), Superb matte black finish and minimalistic design, I have a problem: Most keys have a metallic "ringing" after being quickly pressed and released (which is what you usually do when typing). It's louder on some keys than others. Hopefully disappear over time. Update 7 months later: It's holding up great. The metallic ringing issue I mentioned earlier is gone. Clean inputs and no glitches are very important. I've recently noticed losing games and suspect incorrect inputs are to blame. Of course testing it in the trainer in general mode shows that the keyboard sometimes resets the input even if I hold down the key (to charge the movement you have to hold down the directional key for 2 seconds before typing a command). In other words, there is jitter or noise in the signal so the computer registers that I released the key when in fact I didn't. It doesn't always happen, but I've noticed it. Unless you play games where clean signals are paramount, this probably isn't an issue. If you're a casual user looking for a minimalist keyboard, I still recommend it. 1 year update: still holding up great. However, the left arrow key's cap is cracked where the cap attaches to the mechanical switch (where the "+" shaped stem is inserted). As a result, the button wobbles a bit when pressed. This probably happened when I was pressing keys in Street Fighter, so it's probably not caused by normal usage.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Gloomy hardware
