Whilst this is a good cat scratching post I am very disappointed that I did not receive the one I ordered! I chose the double scratching post precisely because I liked the low floor scratching post for my older cat with osteoarthritis of the hip. The one I received is a decent scraper but completely different from the one in the photo. Still, it's a decent scraper. It was very easy to assemble and the legs at the base make it more stable than other cat scratching posts in this price range. The quality is typical of a standard cat scratching post - the rope is securely attached to the posts and the cat toy will last as long as any other attached cat toy. The only drawback, apart from the fact that I did not receive the scratching post advertised, is that the instructions are printed. on the outer label, not in the box. If something happens to the box during transport or you throw away the packaging without knowing it, you will not have access to the instructions. Overall, I gave it three stars because I didn't expect it based on the product description. Also the instructions on the outside of the box can be an issue preventing someone from assembling it properly.
