I don't usually take the time to write a review but in this case it was more than justified. The story starts with me doing something stupid (which usually happens in good stories). I placed a hot plate from the microwave on the coffee table. After a while I remove the plate and a deep, ugly white ring is burned into the coffee table. ! Pooh! After a few minutes of self-loathing, I decided to correct my mistake! First I looked at solutions, household iron, olive oil and vinegar (which I used and did nothing). I need professional help! So I went to google all kinds of these stuffs just use my problem. Granted I wanted to get it locally, tried Walmart and Home Depot out of stock, have to order and ship $25 minimum shipping. Then I tried Amazon, it should have been from the start! Cheaper than Wally and free prime shipping. Apologies to everyone who checked this last but successfully! So the package arrived two days later. I think I cleaned my ugly white ring with regular 409 cleaner and dried the area. And opened the package! Thus, the product is generally an emery cloth treated with a polishing compound. Not very impressive at first glance. The cause of a white ring on furniture is usually water or heat penetration into the surface. So I started my project. I worked on a small section about an inch long, moved back and forth with the wood texture for about 3 minutes and, oh my god, I saw the ring disappear! minutes and reduced this area by 90%! For the rest of the ring I calculated a total of about 45 minutes. Yes, it takes time, and YES, it definitely works. I'm guessing the science behind the magic is a combination of the type of sticky cloth, the polishing paste it's soaked in, and a lot of friction created by yourself. The resulting friction removes any moisture left in the gear and the fabric and compound polishes and finishes the area. Unfortunately I didn't take a before and after picture, but it's 98% like new. The composition was enough to quickly finish the rest of the table and also attach the ring of light. I also worked on another table that we bought at auction. Which finished off the top perfectly! BUY THIS PRODUCT, it's awesome! I'm sure there are surfaces it might not work on, but for me it was awesome!
