I like how simple it is to set up and use. It's easy to see all of the logs that are generated from my SAP environments and visualize them with splunk. The powerconnect agent requires some initial configuration. Some of our apps require custom scripts to be run upon logon. This can take a while. It was a bit difficult to learn at first but now I am able to find what I need relatively quickly when logging into my systems. We've been setting up several new SAP implementations (we're an MSP) and were looking for a way to centralize our management so we could see if anything was out of place or causing problems. A lot of this is hidden from view unless you know where to look and this makes it very difficult to troubleshoot problems. I like that it is easy to configure, has an excellent user interface, and makes it super easy to integrate with other products. It doesn't have as many features as some of its competitors, but I can see how this could be helpful to those who aren't looking for all the bells and whistles. The support team is also great to work with and is always willing to help out. We use Powerconnect for SAP to monitor our SAP environment.
