In the end I had to give up this system. Kitty and I both gave him every reason to be successful, but it was too much work. She hated pellets and didn't go too far in the box. This caused some to urinate on their sides. The pods seemed to fill up too quickly and it stank! It wasn't easy getting her poop out of the pellets unless I was using a gloved hand. All in all it wasn't a very good experience for me.
