The cushion is definitely soft, true to size in length and width, but definitely not as thick as in the photo. Mine was packaged in what appeared to be a sealed plastic bag, so I expected it to expand a bit when opened, but unfortunately it stayed flat. From afar it could definitely fool people into thinking it's real bread, which is why I got it. So in that respect it lives up to its expectations and I got the reaction I wanted by giving it. Disappointed that it's not as fancy as it looks in the promotional photos so if that's what you want it definitely fails. pleasantly surprised and disappointed at the same time. A great joke gift, maybe not as comfortable and fluffy to relax on as you like. Appearance: 5/5 Snuggle Ability: 2/5
