Really useful. I use it in my vent and had to stretch the hook fully to grab the back of the vent but once that's happened and I tightened it it stays in place. At the bottom of the holder there is a place to connect the power cord if necessary. It also rotates, so if you're using it for mapping, there's no problem. It has a release button for quick removal from the mount. The quality is excellent. You seem to have put a lot of thought into the design. The price is very good. Easy to assemble. would recommend.
